  • Buying More Than One Puppy - Should You

  • Some Delicacies you can cook for your Beagle

Your pet is part of your family and cooking for your spouse and children is part of daily life. There is no reason that occasionally you cook up some delicacies for your Beagle whether as part of Beagle care nutrition or as a special treat, especially if it is feeling a little under the weather.

Here is a cool treat you can rustle up for your pup in the form of nutritional pupcakes. First pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees. Mix together in a small bowl two and three-quarters cup of water, one-fourth cup unsweetened applesauce, two tablespoons of honey, one medium size egg and one-eighth teaspoon of vanilla.

In a larger bowl mix four cups whole-wheat flour, one cup dried apple chips and one-tablespoon baking powder. Add the liquid ingredients to the dry and mix until well blended. Pour into greased muffin pan, or paper muffin cups in the pan and bake for about 70 to 75 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. This makes 12 or more pupcakes and they can be stored in a sealed container for an occasional special Beagle care puppy treat.

Tasty Treat To Rid Dog Of Fleas

To offer your Beagle care against fleas, mix one-quarter-cup of cottage cheese, one-fourth-teaspoon garlic powder and one tablespoon of bacon grease. No cooking is required as you just sprinkle a little on your dog?s food daily to add Beagle care to the taste of his food and keep the fleas at bay.

Here are some cookies that can provide nutritional Beagle care that is fairly easy to put together. Mix one 3 and a half ounce jar of beef or liver baby food, one-third cup of wheat germ and two-thirds cup of non-fat dry milk. You can add a small amount of water if it appears too thick, then drop onto a greased cookies sheet and bake for 12 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

Allow to cool before giving to your dog and store leftovers in a sealed container in the refrigerator. The next time you and your family are having a treat, a nutritional Beagle care cookie can be given to you pet so he will not beg for yours.

This is an excellent way to meet your Beagle?s need for a treat while maintaining a healthy diet. Also, you should consider learning more about grooming your Beagle.
