My beagle had to …
My beagle had to wear a collar too because when she was attempiting to get bread off our counter, (or as we think) she broke her tail and she had to get a plate and pins in her leg because she jacked it up. She hated that thing!!!

Hey, yeah … nice bass, but poor Jaco … my previous Dog, Duke had a tumor removed on his hind end and wore one of those for a while after it was removed … an Elizabethan dog collar is what they’re called I believe. Glad Jaco is doing better … may he stay healed!!

thyroid issue - the last vet wanted a conservative amount but when we had upped the dosage he was fine and his fur got real soft . When we wanted to continue the higher dosage of thyroid meds we were told no. We got a second opinion and the new vet said it can be done in tolerable amounts . So we upped the dosage again …
after 1 week he was completely healed!!! go figure
